For 4 years I've been shipping production systems with Node.js, NestJS and TypeScript. For the last two, I've worked on payroll-deductible lending, Open Finance and a payment institution built from scratch.

I started out building websites and internal tools at a water utility in Campos dos Goytacazes, Brazil. That's where I learned that good software is the kind that solves the user's problem, not the one with the fanciest stack.
Since then I moved into backend and financial services. At SGBr, I built, with one other engineer, the backend of a banking platform from scratch, which became a payment institution. At Teddy Open Finance, I worked on lending microservices integrated with banks like Banco Pan, BRB, Caixa and Semear, where a mistake isn't just a bug, it's the wrong amount in someone's account.
I like problems with consequences: integrations that need to work at 3 a.m., queues that can't lose a message, deploys that can't take anything down. I care about architecture, but not to the point of blocking delivery. I write code the next developer can follow, and I document what was decided and why.
Bank, partner and payment APIs, with queues, retries and traceability.
DDD, Repository Pattern and Clean Code applied with judgment, not dogma.
I've single-handedly owned a system's entire AWS infrastructure: ECS, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda and Load Balancer.
Datadog, Grafana and CI/CD pipelines to catch problems before users do.
